Willow

Meet the newest addition for our farm family......Willow our new puppy! She is an 8 week old blue healer/lab mix. Yesterday, Travis and I went to look at a litter of puppies and possibly pick out a female to bring home. We both fell in love with this little puppy and brought her home to surprise Kaitlin, Kortney and Dawson!

 

 

Willow follows us all around except to the shed where she is afraid to go. She came from a farm with chickens, but hasn't seen a cat, sheep, cows or ducks before. Most of the time she stays on the porch with Dixie and the cats who have all become friends. Of course Dixie doesn't mind having a little puppy around. It's just one more animal she can "mother" and look after!

May 24

 Wow, who would have thought we'd have the perfect weather for May 24 this year! Perfect summer weather for camping and hanging out back at the pond. 15 kids in all and I think everyone of them should sleep well tonight after a few non-stop days of play :)

 There was LOTS of frogging going on this weekend. If lots of frogs indicates a healthy pond (marsh) then ours must be very healthy! It wasn't too hard to catch LOTS of frogs!!
