Some of the group we could find for a quick picture before the bus left for home!
For dinner we went to an Italian restaurant called Alice Fazoolis. Nice, but expensive (we were downtown T.O) The food was great, I wasn't so sure when the only thing on the menu that I could eat was rainbow trout......I'm not fish lover, but it was really good. The martini before supper wasn't as good-a caramel apple martini, good but very tart. For desert, which I usually never get in a restaurant I chose raspberry sherbet. Normally something like this is extremely sweet and artificial. Well this was amazing! It tasted like perfect blended frozen raspberries. It was a nice surprise. After a 2hr supper and a lot of alchol drank at our table :), we walked to the Royal Alexandera Theater. The theatre itself was beautiful...but we were all pumped to see the show. There are no words to describe it but amazing! Who would have thought a movie with all the different scenes it has could be done a stage?! Someone had some incredible imagination and talent that told the story just like the movie did. I found out too that we had the second best seats in the place so ya.......amazing doesn't explain it. It's one of those times you wish everyone you know could have seen it for themselves to understand. I was sooo glad to be able to go. And how did I do this? My wonderful husband took the afternoon off so I could go. The day was great, something I'll remember always!!

So glad you had a great time. Remember, the meal is never bad as long as you have good desserts and drink enough. I'm sure you will let Dan have his day. I saw the "Lion King" in the same theatre and I agree it is a beautiful place. We saw "Little Anthony and the Imperials" at the Avalon theatre in the Fallsview Casino January 12th and I know you are too young to have heard of them but they where great. The theatre seats 1500 and there is not a bad seat in the place. I will remember it forever. Times like these are worth every minute.
After the dryer/illness incident you deserved a break
Glad you got a chance to see your favourite movie performed on stage. A day out in downtown Toronto is always a treat! Marc took us to Alice Fazoolis and I remember it as a good meal...will have to try the rainbow trout next time. Apple martinis???? Weird.
You deserved a special day out like that!
