Last Thursday was a PA day for the kids at school. I'm not sure why the schools are having PA days in the middle of the week this year. When we have one I try to go to my moms for the weekend having it on Thursday screws up my plan. I decided to just pull the kids out of school Friday and go up anyway. (as it turns out it was a snow day anyway) On Thrusday we headed up north for a visit. My mom's birthday is on Groundhog day so when she's so close to Wiarton I like to take the kids to the parade when we're there. The kids always love going to visit. It's a nice change from the long days of the winter. Here's some pics of our long weekend away.
