It was a beautiful thanksgiving weekend up in the woods! We went on lots of hikes, visited, played cards, cooked, ate and watched the new Star Trek movie.....yes I even watched it!
Sat we went for a walk on the Bruce trail. Kaitlin and Kortney had fun climbing rocks along the way.

Then next day we drove up to Emmet lake to walk the Halfway Log Dump trail.
Although the day was cooler, the scenery was amazing!
Kids, yes climbing rocks. Thank goodness everyone stayed dry. The water was freezing.

The kids had so much fun....It was a nice weekend to say good bye to the lakes, trails and fall. We will have to wait till next spring for our next walk in Bruce!
